SCHOOL UNIFORMS

Bible Baptist Christian Academy uses an online uniform company, Schoolbelles (www.schoolbelles.com), for uniform purchases. To order uniforms, you must use our school code—2308

Uniform Guidelines

Skirts and Jumper - Official uniform plaid only. Skirts and jumpers should be knee-length. Overly long or short skirts are not permissible. No splits above the knee.

Pants - Dress code pants are loose-fitting, tan, chino style only. By that is meant: must have pockets built in, not stitched onto the outside of the pants; no cargo pants; seams are single stitched. No ornamentation of any kind. Leggings/jeggings are not pants and therefore may only be worn under dresses or skirts of regulation length.

Shorts - Grades Preschool 3 - 6th: Knee-length, tan, chino style shorts

Shirts - Schoolbelles white button-up blouse with embroidered BBCA logo.  Button-up blouses may hang loose. 

White or Black knit pullover shirt with embroidered Bible Baptist Christian Academy round logo.  Pullover shirts must be tucked in neatly at all times.  No oversized shirts.  Beginning with sixth graders, white shirts must be worn with a camisole or plain white t-shirt underneath.

Shoes - Brown or Black shoes, with limited accent colors. No backless shoes. Dressy, black leather boots are permitted with skirt or jumper; no other boots.

Leggings - Solid black or white leggings may be worn under uniform skirts or jumpers.

Socks - Socks must cover the ankle and be either black or white. Knee-socks and tights are acceptable.

Outerwear

 Jackets and sweaters worn in the classroom may be purchased from SchoolbellesSolid black, red, tan, or gray outerwear is also acceptable. No wording, pictures, or designs. All outerwear not within codes will have to be taken off as soon as entering the classroom.

PE Uniforms (5th Grade - High School)

Athletic shirts and shorts are to be purchased from Schoolbelles. The PE uniform consist of a red shirt with BBCA athletic logo, black shorts with BBCA logo on the thigh (shorts must reach the knee), and proper athletic shoes w/socks.  Plain red shirts are not proper PE uniforms.

Students should present themselves in a neat, tidy manner. Clothing should fit the student, neither too tight nor too loose. School administration will determine the suitability of any uniform and has the final say on uniform appropriateness.

Dress Day Fridays are a fundraiser where students may dress down for a one dollar ($1) donation. It is optional and children may attend school in their normal uniform on Fridays. If your child chooses to participate, one dollar should be sent in with your child to turn into his/her teacher.

* Clothing must be neat and clean

* Clothing should be modest and loose-fitting

* Skirts, shorts, and dresses should be knee-length

* Logos, icons and messages on clothing which are contrary to biblical or BBCA standards are not acceptable

* Leggings/jeggings are not pants and therefore may only be worn under dresses or skirts of regulation length. Yoga pants are not acceptable for school attire at any time.

* Clothing should not be frayed, overly worn, or with holes



These guidelines may not address every style that might show up on Dress Down Days. It is our desire to teach discernment and responsibility to our students. To do so, we allow students to make choices within a framework such as this, trusting that they will choose wisely. However, should a style not be acceptable, the student will be asked to correct it.
